I wanted to show you the Little Owl 'Owlivia' that is around our land most of the time.
(When I tried to do my post earlier, it said my file was too big!!?? I was only sending one picture!!??)

Never mind, she is called Owlivia and when she sees the cats she calls for me to come out and tell them off!!

Absolutely delightful little creature.

Maybe someone can tell me how to make the picture smaller, then you can see her!?!?  LDx

Hola

I would love to see the image you have, I am very much getting into these exotic birds that keep flying overhead.

Your image can only be 128KB (that is the maximum you are allowed to post per message)

Do you have image software so you can change the pixel size of the image? Are you trying to attach the picture straight from your "raw" folder of images that have been downloaded from your camera, if you are then they are way too big to post on most forums.

If you still have problems, send to me at cg@campo-girls.com and I will re-size for you and load

Look forward to seeing your picture

Here is the other picture I took of her on the same day.
She was bobbing up and down in the almond tree, keeping her eyes on me all the time.  Shocked

Hi

I am half way up a mountain behind Mijas Golf!!!  Very tranquil, with lots of wildlife.
Just yesterday, I saw a Kestrel seeing off a bigger Hawk.  The smaller bird was dive bombing the bigger one from above, mid flight!!
The Hawk soon took the hint and flew away.
Just a shame I didn't have my camera with me.

Hola

I am in Monda so we are not far away from each other at all!

We get many Kestrels and Hawk here too and every morning I see them flying over, whenever they have been close enough to get a good picture (like the ones of the parakeets) I don't have my camera on me.

My husband and I have been going on walks from a bird watching book we were given and the views and birds have been amazing

Hi Little Digger,

Your photos are great  Smiley
I have also seen a little owl in my garden, which is in the campo in Coin! Unfortunatly i didnt have my camera either, but will be looking out for it again! Another bird that frequents our garden is the Hoepoo, still no pic's of that either as it is too quick!

Hola

I tried to catch a piccie of the Hoepoo last time we left your house, we managed to get the GoldFinches but not the Hoepoo, they really are quick, I think I need to come and camp on the track with a bottle of vino and just wait.

Hope to see you soon
