Hola.  I am inland - in the hills - from Malaga.  And am getting totally frustrated by inability to purchase/find interesting plants that would be suitable for the area and climate.  Where are, for example,  the Melianthus major, the Grevilleas, Ceanothus?  Right now I buy plants in the UK and cart them back but it seems loopy that I can't get them locally.  In the UK you couldn't move for plant sales and plant swapping - is that something to be done here?

Hola Sorbus

Welcome to the forum and thanks for your new post.

I think what you have suggested is a great idea and we would be willing to support this, would you like to join our blog and discuss this idea to enable you to "spread the word" quicker?

We have just got into seed swapping so why not plant swapping!

It seems crazy that you cannot get the plants here that you are wanting, especially if our climate in Spain suits what you are looking for.

Where abouts in the hills of Malaga are you?

We looked inland of Malaga a few years ago when looking to buy and I have friends who live in Almogia.
