The subtropical citrus tree that is grown foir its fruit which was originally name the "forbidden fruit " of Barbados is the grapefruit tree.

These evergreen trees are usually found at around 5-6 m (16-19 feet) tall, although they can reach 13-15 m (43-49 feet). The leaves are dark green, long (up to 150 mm, or 6 inches) and thin. It produces 5 cm (2-inch) white four-petaled flowers.

I have one growing next to our swimming pool and I am itching for it to fruit, anybody know how long I have to wait, I have attached an image and as you can see it is starting to flower, so perhaps I only have to wait another year?

Thanks
