Please could anyone advise on 'Indterminable' and 'Determinable' when referring to seeds...
(I am thinking one sort you can predict type/sex of plant before planting - other you will not
know until it has grown/is in flower???)..
Thanks!

Hola

OK, the mother in law has come back to me:

I have looked it up in the dictionary and on the internet, indeterminately means not precisely fixed as to size, nature or number.

Determinate means precise, a determinate number, growth in the plant.

What plants are you planting that you need to know the sex? I have never needed to know before other than cuandalucia gardening bers! Tell me the reason you needed to ask the question.
