I adore this little Apple tree, my Mum bought me this when I live in Torreblanca and it sat in a tall pot that we were bought at our wedding by some good friends, when we moved to Monda we took the tree out of the pot and planted it in the garden near the bar, since then I have had a lot of fruit from this small tree and I absolutely love the blossom

Having realised I'm too new & I can't post a new thread I've found something about apple trees - I'm hoping someone can advise me varieties that are crisper than the usual woolly stuff you get in Spanish supermarkets??? !!  Anyway, hoping someone sees this.  Disappointed that such a potentially good site seems little used.

Would be very interested in your apple info.  I too cannot stand woolly apples, over here, only really like the Chilean Granny Smiths, crisp and green, which you can buy in Carrefour sometimes.  Early on in the season Mercadona also have some lovely Grannies.  If you know how to import and grow Coxs Orange Pippins please share.
You are right this is a great site and I wish people would join in more, looking at the stats there are plenty out there sharing the site so come on, chat and share!  Simone is doing a great job with this site.
Cheers

We had problems with spam that we lost our "chatters", I am now fighting to get us back to where we should be Sad

There was no dedicated gardening forum for us expats so I created one but the spammers ruined it for me, hence the reason security is so tight - newbies I know are "real" have been upgraded so you can create threads, there is no other way to do this, I do not want spammers back, not welcome here Smiley

You should now be able to chat freely Smiley
