Let's Get it Straight

Hola

As you know I have spinal issues and this can hinder me in life at times.

Last week I was having some bad problems with walking and pain, I was on meds and basically having a rough time of it, anyway, I had Bowen therapy on the Tuesday followed by another one yesterday and I am back on feet and raring to go

My point in all of this was that gardening was my saviour and allowed me to gently exercise my muscles while I was waiting for the Bowen treatment to do the work, pruning is a fairly easy job for someone with a back problem, providing that straining to reach high points is kept to a bare minimum, for most of us it is the lower back that gets affected while gardening and that includes those with strong backs, it is this pain that prevents most people from gardening

For me - well I love gardening that I just can't help but get on with it, I do use tools to help me in my garden but generally I find that sitting down while weeding instead of bending helps and doing the pruning which is also an easier job than digging holes etc!
