Hops

Is it possible to grow hops here in Andalucia ? Also, where on earth would you buy them ?
I have heard they are fantastic for hedgerows........as well as making beer!!

Hola

I have wondered the same as I have been watching "grow your own drugs", being well into my herbal remedies I love things I can grow that you can use to make you feel better, etc etc

He mentioned Hops on one of his shows just recently, he has a book that will give you detail on hops and how to grow

I plan on getting his book also as I want to grow rose hips and various other groovy stuff, I would be inclined to ask the local garden centre I am sure they can arrange for you or look online

Yeah, thats exactly where i got the idea from, it was the lavendar and hop bags to help you sleep. PLUS, hops seemingly make for great hedge type plants and grow about a foot a week. PLUS, you can make beer out of them. Ahhhh such a useful plant!
