Hi, I have heard some great reviews about this website so I have been cruising for a while as a guest just reading posts etc. Anyway, I have just actually joined and hope to contribute something useful to the community I hope that "Gardening Chat" is the right forum place to post this introduction in, if not, please let me know.. Best wishes Rettokick

Hello
I thought that I would introduce myself to the forum.
I have observed some positive dialogue in relation to your forum therefore I've been hanging around for a time as a visitor just taking a look at it out.
Anyways, I've just basically registered and believe I am able to donate something significant towards network.
Lets hope that this is appropriate community forum to write this intro in, otherwise, remember to move the post.
With thanks PromGoryplord ================================================= [link has been removed out due to spam]

Hi
I thought that I would introduce me personally to the online community.
I've heard various great dialogue involving your community therefore I've been hanging around for a while as a visitor just checking it out.
So anyway, I have just essentially become a member and anticipate to donate something valuable towards network.
I believe that this is ideal subforum to write this introduction in, if not, remember to let me know.
Warm Regards PromGoryplord ================================================= [link has been removed out due to spam]

Hi
You keep saying the same message over and over and over................is this so you can keep your link appearing?
You have said hello, we welcomed you, and then you said hello again..............
I think you are repeating your message for your link, you did not convince me you were not a spammer, despite my message warning you, so I have put your membership back down like I said I would. If you are not a spammer then I apologise, however, your forum behaviour is suggesting that you are.
Trust me we will NOT tolerate any kind of spamming here, we have simply had enough of it and I refuse to let my forum be riddled with crap that does not interest people, sorry but that is how it is!

Rettokick, repeating the same message over and over will not mean you get to change your status any quicker as I have just removed your last post.
Either you have an agenda or you don't understand forums? So for the benfit of the doubt, stop posting the same message and integrate with other forum members on other subjects except "hellloooo" and we might get somewhere!

Hellooo.... indeed! New here, terribly sorry I can't work out how to post my own 'Hello' Thread! I just know it'll be simple when you know how... Anyway, VERY pleased to have been pointed in your direction. Believe it or believe it not I actually had on my list of online things to do 'Orange Tree varieties (******)( insert name of my most frequently used Spain forum) - yes, I was about to post about fruit & enquire of the Mods if there was a case for a Gardening sub forum. Well maybe - but now I've found Campo Girls! ps Fionacampo really is my account name at a local ferreteria

Hola! Just moved to the Comares area. My very first garden and it's huge! Well a lot bigger than my previous garden (a balcony), so I need all the advice I can get. Adore roses and luckily the previous owner did as well. Want more apples and hops and clematis and and... I'd love to grow enough veg to be self sufficient, but that's going to take me a few years I think.
hasta luego!
Liz

Hi both/all. I'm not a million miles from Liz; S of Colmenar in fact! We have 5000sqm of hillside, on mostly shale & clay (having lived most of my adult life with clay soil that doesn't much faze me though the summer cracks are a sight to behold..). Have had two terraces dug out so we now have three strips for veg/fruit trees & decorative is mainly pots plus three walled beds. Main issue was irrigation, until with my daughter's help I finally got it up & running about a month ago. So this year the crops stand at least a chance. Despite living touching distance from countless goats, have yet to find a source of estiercol Where are most of the regular contributors gardening? & in what size/conditions? (the gardens, I mean!)

Hola Welcome to the forum, I will upgrade your username so you can post images We are very spam active here so newbies are not really allowed to do much We looked in Colmenar before we finally bought in Monda We are mainly clay also so lots of top soil has needed to be applied, we were fortunate in that we had horses living on the land prior to us moving in, this was great for building top soil and what grows there, loves it! My garden is 2700 square metres so slowly over time we are developing areas for vegetables. We have garlic, onions, tomatoes and strawberries growing right now and producing Look forward to chatting to you and learning about your garden Simone
