Well I forgot to go to the bank on Friday and found myself a bit short of the weekend .. never mind, rustled up some eggs (for some reason our chickens are now forgoing their laying beds in preference of the chumba, so this necessitated an hours search .. and presto!) and dug up some potatoes (a bit early but never mind) and there's lunch for me and the kids. And they enjoyed the whole process too ...

Sorry if this sounds smug but its great to look forward to a summer straight from the garden .. we didnt really get much growing over winter except a few onions, now we have a plentiful salad spectacular just begining to grow ..

how's everyone else's veg garden going? did anyone try anything last year that they'd recommend?

Hi Stacey

Good for you, bank holidays in Spain always catch me out so I hear you on that one

I have not done a lot of gardening lately, although my herbs are growing well and the raspberries are enjoying the sunshine, along with the strawberries (always have those on the go), I think I may get some kiwis this year though so I am looking forward to that
