I have had an email from a member who is sick of the spam we are receiving, Chris and I have got the forum in mind for yet another update but you must appreciate that we are working full time and do not get huge amounts of time (I know this is not your fault!) to work on personal projects

I created this forum to meet like minded gardeners but with a forum spammers tend to annoy us also and spam us, however, you must have noticed that they cannot posts links or images and we delete as soon as we see them, we delete the user and the spam message.

Please bear with us and we will tighten security once more

I am now monitoring this website daily as is Gina, anybody who posts spam will have it removed ASAP, we will need to take this website down for maintenance so we can prevent these posts from getting on in the first place!

We have noticed other forums are also suffering in Spain with spammers from Nigeria, Russia and China, so it is not just us who are affected by these stupid people!

Not sure what they gain, I know they are trying to post links but you will notice these are stripped out by our system. It would seem to me they are attempting to link build using this forum but to gain good search engine traffic from links those links need to stay here for a lot longer than a few hours!

We will get this sorted, bear with us and thanks
