I would be grateful on some advice on posting photos on your site.   Mine seem all too big when I look at your limits, although I don't understand the difference between kb and mb!  Not into this sort of measurement  malarky!  I can't seem to find anything on my picture site that allows me to make them smaller, except compress files, does this work for posting? Hola Suzy

I use Adobe photshop to change the size of my images

1000 KB (Kilobytes) = 1 MB (Mega Bytes)

1000 MB = 1 GB (Gigabytes)

I change the size of images for uploading here to be 250 pixels, we have to restrict the size of images uploaded otherwise we would use a lot of my server space.

Try GIMP this is a free image re-sizer, it is open source and we know about this as my husband is an astronomer so his community use that if they do not have Adobe Smiley
